On June 28 2017, more than 50 students graduated from the Dream, Believe, Achieve program in North Queensland.
Run by the North Queensland Cowboys and Allara Learning, the Dream, Believe, Achieve program provides hospitality training and employment opportunities in North Queensland.
Held at 1300 SMILES Stadium in Townsville, the graduation ceremony celebrated the achievements of our graduates who, through the program, have overcome personal barriers and marked a turning point in both their lives and their careers.
“I joined the Dream, Believe, Achieve program in February and it has changed my life. I decided to do the course because hospitality was always an industry that I wanted to be a part of. When I first started the course, I was extremely nervous about meeting new people, but the environment was very welcoming and I quickly overcame that fear”, remarked Dream, Believe, Achieve graduate Rhyce Tuckey.
Professional trainers from Allara Learning delivered a mix of classroom-based and hands-on instruction to the students, while individualised support was provided by a dedicated indigenous Cowboys mentor.
“Thank you Allara Learning for always helping me and everyone else achieve our goals”, said graduate Kelly Clinch.
On behalf of Allara Learning, congratulations to all graduates for your fantastic achievements.
