Kianna’s fresh start: a thriving career at Rashays

Rashays, a prominent name in quick, casual dining, sought to open a new restaurant in Belconnen, ACT, and faced the challenge of finding job-ready staff. In response, they collaborated with Allara Learning to create a tailored training program that aligned with the nationally recognized SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality. This initiative aimed to equip individuals with little to no industry or employment experience with the skills needed for success. The program featured intensive training delivered by professional instructors, blending classroom-based and hands-on learning within a real working environment. The outcome was exceptional, with all program graduates receiving employment offers, reinforcing Rashays' commitment to both quality dining experiences and community empowerment.

Kianna Eckles, a proud program graduate, shared, “I dropped out of school very young and even had periods of being homeless… I’ve always had a lot of self-confidence issues when it’s come to studying, but doing my course with Allara Learning was really awesome. I had the best trainer… she made me want to stay in hospitality. She made me really excited about this job and gave me so much passion and confidence.”
