This subject aims to develop the essential knowledge and skills to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment within the hospitality industry.
By successfully completing this subject, participants will be well-prepared to meet the hygiene and safety requirements of various hospitality roles and increase their chances of securing employment in this dynamic industry.

Learn and develop the skills and knowledge required to be socially aware when serving customers and working with colleague. This includes the ability to communicate with people from a range of social and cultural groups with respect and sensitivity, and to address cross-cultural misunderstandings should they arise.

Non-alcoholic beverage services is designed to equip you with the necessary skills to efficiently manage a café or restaurant style bar and deliver exceptional customer service. The subject covers all aspects of setup and organisation of the bar, taking drink orders, and employing upselling, cross-selling, and suggestive selling techniques to enhance revenue opportunities and will learn the art of creating a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, the subject covers efficient closing procedures. Through practical exercises and real-world scenarios, you will gain the hands-on experience needed to excel in beverage services.

This subject aims to provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver food and beverages in cafe service environments. You will learn the basic principles and service techniques needed to prepare for and deliver great customer service in a dining room.

Learn how to conduct basic research on current and emerging information for the hospitality industry and share or present this information to your work team to enhance the quality of work performance.
